Carlos Fabián Maldonado (born July 30, 1963 in Montevideo, Uruguay) is a retired professional footballer from Venezuela, who played as a midfielder during his career. He was nicknamed "Carlitos".
Maldonado played professional football in Venezuela, Argentina, Brazil and Colombia. He obtained a total number of 20 caps for the Venezuela national football team, scoring four goals. All his goals came at the 1989 Copa América. He is the father of Giancarlo Maldonado, who also started a professional football career.
